Why We Love Creekside

We love Creekside because it is Whistlers’ original base area. It is family friendly and offers a quiet village away from the hustle and bustle of Whistlers’ Main Village. If you are traveling with young children keep Creekside in mind. Ran out of milk or diapers – the grocery store is right there. Not like other ski in/ski out accommodation where your trek for supplies will involve a drive or shuttle. Some of Whistlers’ best restaurants and amenities are also south of the village in Creekside.

Why We Recommend Taluswood

Taluswood offers a quiet out of the way location with great ski in/ski out access.  These spacious townhomes are great for travellers who want space and great access to the mountain.   This is a quiet complex and most units have amazing views.   Creekside is a short less than 5 min drive away and the village is a 10 min drive.

“Perfect home for grown up family to stay in. Comfortable and warm and well managed by Marnie at Skiing BC.. We chose this location as we wanted peace and quiet and it was perfect. So convenient both for those skiers that can manage the ski in and ski out and those that can’t, like me, who just jump in the car and park in the free car park by the gondola. Marnie put us in touch or actually arranged our lift passes, ski hire and delivery of groceries before our arrival so we could arrive very late and yet wake up and ski as soon as we woke. Thumbs up from all the family. We will be back.”
