Snowmobile Tours / Snow Cat Tours

5allaghan Cruiser – 3 HOUR Whistler Snowmobile Tour

Journey through the pristine Callaghan Valley to the historic NorthAir Goldmine site for a fabulous introduction to the backcountry. Follow wide, winding trails to an open play area. Experience the perfect mix of easy riding and spectacular scenery ideal for first time snowmobilers and families!

If you have never ridden a snowmobile or an ATV before then this is a great tour for you! Suits beginners and families.

Wilderness Run – 3 HOUR Whistler Snowmobile Tour

Carve your way through the remote backcountry of the Callaghan Valley. Ride thickly forested trails, play on frozen lakes and cruise up the awe inspiring Sproatt Mountain as you enjoy our new 4-stroke snowmobiles.  Discover the excitement and freedom of a CANADIAN backcountry adventure.

Suits adventurous beginner and intermediate riders. 

Departs: 8:00 am (Monday & Tuesday only), 11:00am & 2:00pm daily

Duration: 3 hours (round trip)

Family Apres By Snowmobile

Be thrilled by the sensation of driving or share this mountain experience with a friend as you embark on our classic apres tour on Blackcomb. Escape the winter shadows as you meander through old growth forest and up cat tracks at dusk with a stop at our custom built igloo.  Enjoy a mug of hot chocolate and savor the views of the Village lights and peaks of the Coast Mountain Ranges.

Suits adventurous beginner and intermediate riders. 

Departs: 4:30pm

Duration: 2 hours (round trip)

Family Apres By Snowcat

From the comfort of our heated 19 passenger snowcat, journey into the picturesque hidden valley nestled between Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains.  Our driver will take you up wide mountain trails to the lookout where out custom igloo and warm beverages await.  Fun for the whole family!

Yukon Breakfast

Yukon Breakfast – 4 HOUR Whistler Snowmobile Tour

Carve your way through the remote backcountry of the Callaghan Valley to our rustic cabin on Sproatt Mountain for a full Canadian Yukon breakfast. Cooked on an old fashioned wood stove, this skillet style mountain feast includes Canadian back bacon, Yukon gold potatoes, scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, sautéed onions, and bell peppers along with pancakes and real maple syrup.

Back Country Tours

Backcountry X – Half Day Whistler Snowmobile Tour

Let our experienced and professional backcountry guides show you a real CANADIAN big mountain adventure! Conquer the infamous staircase to reach the alpine, and then blast through rolling hills of powder with 360 degree views of Whistler. This extreme ride is designed to introduce you to avalanche safety, challenge your skill and push your limits. Tour includes a packed lunch prepared by the Bearfoot Bistro.

Suits Advanced Riders. Previous snowmobile experience heavily recommended. 

Departs: 8:00am & 12:30pm

Duration: Half Day (4 hours)

The Powderhound – Full Day Whistler Snowmobile Tour

Get your adrenalin pumping on a new 900 mountain sled before conquering the infamous staircase to reach a giant old growth forest, open meadows, frozen alpine lakes and vast snow fields of the Callaghan.  Master the riding skills of powder turns, side hills, and hill climbs.  Tour includes avalanche safety equipment and a packed lunch prepared by the Bearfoot Bistro.

Advanced riders only. Previous snowmobile experience required.

Bralorne or Bust – Full Day

Adventure to Bralorne, a remote wilderness town, 100 kilometers north of Whistler. Once one of the most vibrant gold rush towns in North America, complete with churches, post office, bars and ski hills, abandoned and forgotten in 1971. Includes transportation, stop in Pemberton, 60 km snowmobile journey over the Hurley mountain pass complete with stunning views, deli-style lunch and new 900 mountain snowmobile.

Fondue Dinner Tour - Canadian Signature Experience (Snowmobile or Snowcat)

Unique, distinguished and one of a kind! For an exclusive dining experience, journey to the quaint and charming Crystal Hut, perched atop Blackcomb Mountain at 6000 ft. Be treated to our chefs local interpretation of a traditional fondue dinner accompanied by one complimentary glass of wine, followed by fresh baked fruit pie served hot from the oven. From the deck of the rustic cabin, enjoy a rich array of alpine colours and panoramic views of the surrounding Coast Mountain Range and the twinkling lights of Whistler Village below. The evening is complete with live entertainment featuring local up and coming musicians.

Crystal Hut Fondue by Snowcat – All Abilities

Experience the serenity of the high alpine, the twinkling lights of Whistler Village and the active nightlife of Blackcomb Mountain, all from the comfort of our luxury, heated 19 passenger snowcat. After an hour-long cozy snowcat ride you will arrive at the charming Crystal Hut, where your alpine dinner awaits.

Departs: 7: 15 pm

Sproatt Steak Night by Snowmobile

 

 

Explore the Callaghan backcountry at dusk by snowmobile as you venture up to our rustic cabin on Sproatt Mountain for a Canadian 3 course steak dinner.  Cooked on an old-fashioned wood stove and grill, this mountain sized meal includes the Chef’s daily inspiration soup, Angus beef sirloin served with garlic mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables and dessert prepared by the Bearfoot Bistro. 

Departs: 5:00 pm (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays)

Duration: 4.5 hours (Round trip)

  • All Drivers’ must have a valid drivers license (equivalent to a full Class 5 license in BC) and be age 19 or older
  • Minimum 5 hours or more advance notice to book any activity
